Chinese electrolysis company Trina Green Hydrogen will equip a new government-backed hydrogen refueling station in Portugal.
Trina Green Hydrogen announced that it has already shipped its first hydrogen electrolysis system to Portugal, scheduled to arrive in September, in a package that includes gas-liquid separators, compressors, purification and energy systems. The equipment will be used at a hydrogen filling station in the city of Porto.
Trina Green Hydrogen added that the delivery represents a “continuation of Trina's globalization strategy.” "Through localized operation and maintenance networks, [Trina] will reduce response cycles and make Chinese hydrogen energy technology the main supporting force for global carbon-zero transformation," said the company, which is already involved in a 160 MW green hydrogen project in Huelva, Spain, demonstrating the international competitiveness of Chinese hydrogen technology.
