Recently, the Portuguese-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCILC) participated in the China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), where it joined a business mission with six Portuguese companies.
In conversation with CGTN journalist Bernardo Mendia, CCILC Secretary-General Bernardo Mendia stressed the importance of a regular presence of Portuguese companies in China, highlighting the rapid evolution of the market, especially in the technology sector. During the interview, he also highlighted China’s role as a global leader in supply chains, emphasizing the efficiency and modernization achieved in recent years.
Regarding the future of bilateral cooperation, Bernardo Mendia pointed to the green energy sector as one of the areas with the greatest potential, highlighting Portugal's experience in this field. He also emphasized Portugal’s role as a strategic bridge between China and Portuguese-speaking countries, particularly in Africa and South America, through investment, financing, and cultural ties.
