The relevance of Chinese brands in the Brazilian automotive industry is a reality. According to a recent study by Webmotors Autoinsights, Brazilian customers' interest in these vehicles grew by more than 50% between March 2024 and the same period in 2025. The analysis is based on the behavior of users of the platform, which facilitates the buying and selling of cars.

To win the trust of Brazilians in the Brazilian automotive market, Chinese companies must focus on tropicalizing their positioning and offer, betting on quality, using advanced technology to understand the consumer and offering exceptional after-sales service, according to Filippo Vidal, partner and director of FutureBrand São Paulo.

According to him, from increasingly advanced and safe batteries to the technology embedded in the car, Chinese brands have a competitive factor they can't afford to lose. With the rapid evolution of artificial intelligence (AI) on a large scale, the Chinese automotive industry is actively adopting this technology in its cars. Chinese automakers have arrived as smart tech providers, launching new technologies at a rapid pace to drive upgrades across the sector and stay ahead in the global competition.
