Portugal will be represented for the second consecutive year at Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles 2026, one of the leading international trade fairs in the sector. The event will take place in Shanghai from 18 to 20 August and will feature the Home From Portugal institutional stand.

The participation aims to increase the visibility of Portugal’s home textiles industry and promote contacts with international brands, retailers and buyers. The stand will showcase the capabilities of Portuguese companies in quality, innovation, technology and production, while exploring new business opportunities in the Chinese market.

The sector has strengthened its competitiveness through advanced manufacturing processes, research and development, digital transformation and workforce development. Sustainability and social responsibility are also key priorities, supported by international standards and certifications covering quality, product safety, traceability, environmental performance and responsible production.

Participation in the fair forms part of the sector’s internationalisation strategy and aims to consolidate Portugal’s position as a leading supplier in the high-end home textiles segment, promoting higher value-added products in overseas markets.
