China’s growing participation in Brazil’s agrochemical market has consolidated a new phase in the strategic partnership between the two countries, affecting production costs, access to innovation and the competitiveness of Brazil’s agro-industrial sector.
The topic will be in highlighted during the 17th edition of Brazil AgrochemShow, which will take place in São Paulo on the 3 and 4 August. One of the main speakers at the event will be researcher Zhang Jinlong, who will deliver a lecture “Challenges in the Supply Chain from China”, addressing changes in the global markets for agricultural production factors and their implications for Brazil.
According to Zhang Jinlong, the Chinese agrochemical industry brings together competitive advantages that benefit agricultural producers in several countries. The researcher stated that the sector benefits from significant advantages in terms of production scale, portfolio diversity and cost efficiency, expanding Brazilian producers’ access to more competitive molecules, technologies and solutions.
