Correios do Brasil (the Brazilian Postal Service) and the AliExpress platform have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with a view to strengthening co-operation in the areas of logistics, technology and parcel tracking, aiming to improve delivery efficiency in e-commerce.

The agreement was formalised during an international mission to China, led by the Minister of Communications, Frederico de Siqueira Filho, and was attended by representatives from Correios and Telebras.

The partnership provides for the deepening of collaboration in areas such as logistics innovation, digitalisation of postal services and end-to-end parcel tracking, from origin to final destination. One of the main focuses is on the so-called "last mile", a stage considered decisive for ensuring greater speed, security and predictability in deliveries to consumers.

The understanding comes amid a period of strong expansion for AliExpress in the Brazilian market, which has been identified as one of the three priority markets in the company's 2026 global growth plan. In this context, continued investment in logistics and technological solutions, in co-ordination with local partners, is planned.
