Chinese sports goods brand 361° is strengthening its presence in the Brazilian market, pursuing a strategy of gradual growth to gain ground in a market dominated by major international brands.
The company plans to expand its distribution network and consolidate its position in the country, with a focus on specialised equipment for running and basketball. Its offering combines sport-applied technology with prices considered more affordable, aiming to attract a wider audience in Brazil.
Globally, the brand has set itself the goal of being among the top five sports goods companies by 2035. According to Sergio Baccaro, the company's Managing Director for Latin America, Brazil is expected to play a central role in the expansion strategy in the coming years. Currently, the brand's operations in Brazil are growing at around 40% per year, while its distributors in Latin America are recording growth of nearly 50% annually.
Founded in 2003 in the Chinese city of Xiamen, 361° began its activity as a manufacturer for major international brands – an experience that contributed to the development of its own technology and its expansion into global markets. The company is now present in more than 60 countries.
