Brazilian companies that import from China will gain easier access to Chinese government credit insurance mechanisms, as well as extended payment terms. Axton Global, a consultancy that facilitates access to the Chinese Export Credit Insurance Corporation (Sinosure), has just signed a partnership with the Brazil-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIBC), the leading association supporting Brazilian entrepreneurs and companies in their connections with Chinese firms.

The co-operation between the organisations aims to facilitate and increase the frequency of imports from China by Brazilian companies, through export credit insurance solutions that help optimise cash flow and enhance the security of international operations — especially for small and medium-sized enterprises, which face greater credit constraints in Brazil.

In this context, the partnership will broaden Brazilian companies' access to Sinosure's solutions, which offer an alternative to credit provided by traditional banks, often associated with greater bureaucracy and higher financial costs.
