Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) recently promoted the conference "Sustainable Business in Brazil: Current and Future Perspectives" in Rio de Janeiro, presenting the potential of Brazil's creative industry as a benchmark for innovation and sustainability to MBA students from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC).

The meeting highlighted how circular and creative economy solutions applied in the Brazilian context can inspire international markets. The sector's potential as a strategic development vector was detailed by Professor Sérgio Sá Leitão, who demonstrated the impact of Rio de Janeiro's creative economy on job creation and tourism enhancement. The connection with global environmental requirements was addressed by Professor Marcos Iorio, who explored integrated sustainable management, covering waste life cycles, green supply chains and resource use efficiency.

Beyond deepening educational exchange, the conference reinforces FGV's position in promoting international co-operation, aligning strategic interests between Brazil and China for the future of business.
