Salvador Caetano Auto has formalised a strategic partnership with Zeekr, Geely Auto Group's electric mobility brand, for the import and distribution of vehicles in Portugal and Spain. According to the companies' press release, sales are scheduled to begin in the second quarter of this year. 

Zeekr is positioned in the premium segment and uses SEA (Sustainable Experience Architecture) technology as the basis for its models. This platform allows the integration of ultra-fast charging systems and 5G connectivity in the interior of the vehicles. Although the brand belongs to a Chinese conglomerate, Geely Auto Group, the development of the cars takes place at Zeekr's Global Design Centre in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The partnership provides for the creation of a dedicated sales and after-sales network by Salvador Caetano Auto to ensure technical assistance for the new models. The agreement was signed in Porto and aims to respond to the interest in electric mobility in Southern Europe.
