Geely is preparing to produce the compact EX2 electric car in Brazil. Launched at the end of last year, the EX2, which is available in Pro and Max versions, will be produced at the Paraná plant alongside Renault cars. According to the Autossegredos website, production will begin between the end of this year and the beginning of 2027.
The EX2 is a compact electric car that has been standing out in this segment. In January, 1,137 units were sold, while in December, 1,552 units were sold. With these figures, the Geely EX2 has already surpassed the BYD Dolphin and the GWM Ora 03.
There should be no changes to the engine and configuration of the Geely EX2, which will initially be assembled in Brazil. The engine has 116 hp and a 39 kWh battery capable of exceeding 300 km of range.
