Miguel Santos is the new coach of the CF Jiangsu women's team in China. After recently leaving SK Dynamo České Budějovice in the Czech Republic, the Minho-born coach, who won the national championship with SC Braga in 2018/2019, as well as the Portuguese Cup (2019/2020) and Super Cup (2018/2019), is now taking charge of an international project in women's football. 

In statements after the agreement was confirmed, Miguel Santos expressed his enthusiasm for the challenge. ‘I am very happy for this opportunity. Many thanks to Alan, Michael and Deanna, as well as to the Jiangsu Football Club Board and the Jiangsu Training Base, especially Mr Jing. I will do my best to live up to the expectations of the club and the academy,’ he said.

The arrival of Miguel Santos is part of CF Jiangsu's commitment to strengthening its technical structure, with the aim of consolidating and developing the women's team in national and international competitions.
