TAAG – Linhas Aéreas de Angola will inaugurate the new Luanda–Guangzhou international route in the People's Republic of China, reinforcing its intercontinental expansion strategy. The opening of this direct connection represents a strategic step in deepening economic, commercial and diplomatic relations between Angola and China, one of the country's main trading partners.

According to the Aviação de Angola portal, the new route comes in response to growing demand for efficient air links between the two markets, facilitating the mobility of businesspeople, students, tourists and logistics operators.

Departing from Dr António Agostinho Neto International Airport (AIAAN) in Luanda, the flight to Guangzhou will allow greater connectivity between Southern Africa and Asia, contributing to Angola's positioning as a strategic regional hub.

In addition to passenger transport, the route is expected to boost the air cargo segment, stimulating bilateral trade and creating new opportunities for exporters and importers.
