As a direct result of trade promotion and business prospecting activities carried out by the Manaus Free Trade Zone Superintendency (Suframa) at international trade fairs, Brazil's Manaus Industrial Pole (PIM) will receive a new electronics factory later this year. The announcement was made on 14 January during a meeting at the authority's headquarters between Superintendent Bosco Saraiva, Deputy Executive Superintendent Frederico Aguiar, and representatives of the Chinese group Megmeet.

The new industrial unit, called Altatronic Industrial do Brasil Ltda., is expected to start operations in July 2026. With an initial investment of R$ 20 million, the unit will focus, in this first phase, on the production of electronic boards, hiring 250 direct employees.

According to the company's deputy production manager, Wind Li, the group's strategy goes beyond the production of components. ‘The aim is to gradually expand the portfolio to manufacture end products under our own brand,’ he said.
