Recently, Chinese Ambassador to Mozambique Zheng Xuan attended the 2025 Annual Meeting of the Mozambique-China Chamber of Commerce and delivered a speech. More than 200 participants attended, including the Embassy's Economic and Commercial Counselor, Xu Weili, the President of the Chamber of Commerce, Yang Jin, and representatives of member companies.

Ambassador Zheng fully recognized the contributions of the Chamber of Commerce and Chinese companies in Mozambique to bilateral economic and trade development over the past year.

She pointed out that 2026 marks the beginning of China's 15th Five-Year Plan and the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the China-Mozambique Global Strategic Partnership. She hopes that all members of the Chamber will firmly implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress and the plenary sessions of the 20th National Committee, operate in accordance with laws and regulations, strengthen production safety, fulfill social responsibilities, integrate their own development into Mozambique's national progress, and contribute to deepening the high-quality construction of the “Belt and Road Initiative” between China and Mozambique, as well as strengthening bilateral friendship.
