The ANSO 2026 Scholarship, one of the main programs of the Alliance of International Science Organizations (ANSO), represents a unique opportunity for Cape Verdean students who wish to pursue advanced studies at renowned higher education institutions in China. The program offers up to 500 fully funded scholarships with the aim of promoting academic and scientific cooperation between Cape Verde and China by supporting master's and doctoral courses.
Selected students will benefit from full tuition exemption throughout the course, free accommodation in university residences, a monthly allowance for personal expenses (according to the level of study), comprehensive health insurance, and networking opportunities with leading researchers and academics.
To apply, applicants must be Cape Verdean citizens or legal residents of Cape Verde. Master's degree applicants must hold a bachelor's degree, while doctoral applicants must have completed a master's degree. The selection process is rigorous and merit-based, evaluating applicants' academic background, research potential, motivation, and professional goals.
