The 7th Meeting in Macao – Arts and Culture Festival between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries, organized by the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC), was successfully held. This edition was coordinated with the “GEG Festival da Lusofonia” to hold seven major series of programs between October and December, with a total of about 80 shows and parallel activities, in which more than 780 domestic and foreign artists and performers participated.

The event received extensive coverage from various media outlets in Macao and the Greater Bay Area, allowing residents and tourists to experience the unique characteristics of Macao as a city of Sino-Portuguese cultural and artistic exchange.

As a cultural and artistic bridge between China and Portuguese-speaking countries, Macao will continue to be committed to establishing platforms for cultural exchange and cooperation, in order to reflect its position as “a base for exchange and cooperation for the promotion of multicultural coexistence, with a predominance of Chinese culture.”
