Recently, the 26th Chinese medical team conducted free health services for workers at an industrial company in Maputo, the capital of Mozambique, offering on-site medical examinations that were widely praised by the company.
During the event, Chinese doctors offered general examinations, including vision assessments, weight monitoring, and screening for musculoskeletal and respiratory problems, as well as complementary treatments such as traditional Chinese acupuncture.
Dino Kuembo, general manager of Revotech Industrial, Lda, said the initiative exceeded expectations and stressed the importance of health monitoring at the company, given its work with chemicals and heavy machinery.
The initiative reflects the spirit of China's overseas medical assistance in strengthening ties between peoples, said Chen Jialei, leader of the 26th Chinese medical team in Mozambique, adding that the team will continue public welfare activities to contribute to closer friendship between China and Mozambique.
