Macau Television Broadcasting (TDM) recently held a conference dedicated to the integrated production and transmission of information, bringing together representatives from various public television stations in Portuguese-speaking countries and regions.
The event was attended by RTP (Rádio e Televisão de Portugal), TPA (Televisão Pública de Angola), RTTL (Rádio e Televisão de Timor-Leste) and TGB (Televisão da Guiné-Bissau). João Nuno Nogueira, a former TDM professional in the 1980s and 1990s and current advisor to the RTP Board of Directors, presented the “Casa de Notícias” project—an initiative under development at RTP to create a multiplatform news production center.
The following day, a ceremony was held to present six documentaries produced by Chinese television stations to Portuguese-speaking countries. The initiative was organized by the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Republic of China in Macao.
