National Assembly and Chinese Embassy in Cape Verde sign memorandum of understanding to organize a forum

Recently, the National Assembly and the Chinese Embassy in Cape Verde signed a memorandum of understanding to hold the Forum on “Multilateralism, Parliamentary Diplomacy, and Cooperation.” 


According to a post on the National Assembly's social media, the forum is scheduled to take place on December 8 and will aim to analyze the friendly relations between China and Cape Verde, chart new paths and cooperation projects between the countries, and serve as a platform for discussion and debate on parliamentary diplomacy and multilateralism.


The event will be held in the Session Room of the National Assembly Palace and will feature opening speeches by the Vice President of the Assembly and President of the Cape Verde-China Friendship Group, Emanuel Barbosa, and the Chinese Ambassador to Cape Verde, Zhang Yang.
