Sebrae in Rondônia recently participated in the international technical mission “Canton Fair Experience,” one of the largest initiatives to introduce small Brazilian businesses to the Asian market.

With 117 members—including entrepreneurs, leaders, and authorities from various states—the itinerary includes Shanghai, Yiwu, and Guangzhou, cities that form the main hub of innovation, technology, and trade in China.

The mission's objective is to strengthen the presence of Brazilian micro and small businesses on the global stage, stimulating commercial partnerships, access to new suppliers, and learning about international trends.

Brazil's Deputy Consul General in Shanghai, Winston Alexander, emphasized the importance of the mission as a link between Brazilian regions and Asian trade: “I have no doubt that this group will make the most of their experience here in China. They will return with new ideas, new inspiration, and new perspectives. This is essential for deepening the friendship between the two countries,” he said.
