Recently, the National Agricultural Society (SNA) hosted a delegation from the city of Jiujiang, in Jiangxi province, China, to its headquarters. The purpose of the meeting was to establish friendly relations and explore bilateral economic and agricultural trade cooperation.
SNA Vice President Hélio Sirimarco welcomed the group and presented the Chinese delegation with the entity's various areas of activity, such as the SNA Digital College, the Organic Intelligence Center (CI Orgânicos), SNASH (SNA Startup Hub), and the magazines A Lavoura and Animal Business.
The Chinese delegation, led by Xiong Jinxi, deputy mayor of Jiujiang, then raised questions about the functioning of import and export practices between the two countries, as well as Brazilian fruit growing.
Agriculture in the city of Jiujiang is characterized by special crops, aquaculture, and agricultural industrialization based on the advantages of natural resources. This has formed a modern agricultural system of multidimensional development.
