Macau/Brazil: Universities strengthen scientific and academic cooperation

Recently, the Macau Polytechnic University (UPM) welcomed a delegation from the São Paulo State University (Unesp), led by Vice-Rector Cesar Martins, with the aim of deepening cooperation in scientific research and higher education. 


UPM Acting Rector Vivian Lei highlighted the institution's commitment to quality teaching and research, emphasizing the importance of collaboration with Brazil, particularly in the year that marks the 51st anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Brazil. Cesar Martins praised UPM's contribution to the training of qualified Brazilian staff and expressed interest in expanding partnerships in the areas of scientific, technological, and academic innovation.


During the visit, the Brazilian delegation toured several UPM facilities, including the International Examination Center and the UPM-UCLA Joint Research Center for Ubiquitous Computing, where they learned about ongoing scientific projects.
