Recently, during the inauguration ceremony of a factory belonging to Chinese automaker GWM, located in Iracemápolis (SP), President of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, praised China, referring to it as the “country's largest trading partner.”
“We will try to fight for balanced world trade. We want multilateralism to return,” the president said. He also emphasized that Brazil has positioned itself as an ally of China in the quest for a fairer world and a more sustainable planet.
“We will take advantage of the Chinese vision that they can occupy a part of the world by selling, producing, and teaching.” Lula asked Chinese company executives to use Brazil as a sales platform in Latin America. “For those who want to come, we will welcome them with open arms and hearts.”
