The first 35 graduates of the Mechatronics course at Huambo’s Integrated Technical-Vocational Training Center (CINFOTEC-Huambo) will head to the People's Republic of China in September for a specialized training program lasting one year and six months.
The director of CINFOTEC-Huambo, Geraldo Pambassange, said to the press that this is a higher-level technical-professional course, to be completed in three years, with one year and six months in China and another equal period in Angola, within the framework of existing cooperation between the two countries. He explained that the training will cover more than 80 percent of the technology used by CINFOTEC, mainly in the areas of robotics, automation, production lines, CNC machines, advanced programming, among other skills.
He announced that courses in agricultural mechanization, graphic design, and drone piloting for tourism and agriculture are in the works and may begin between September and October of this year.
