Among the agreements signed by the Brazilian and Chinese governments on May 13 at the Great Hall of the People was the Memorandum of Understanding (2025-2030) on Cooperation in Modern Family Farming and Agricultural Mechanization, which provides for joint efforts to use machinery in the Brazilian countryside.

According to the text of the agreement, the goal is to "promote the exchange and training of scientific and research personnel, the joint development of farms and encourage the voluntary transfer of technology", in addition to strengthening "results-oriented cooperation between the two countries in family farming and agricultural mechanization" and promoting "a stable and long-term partnership".

The agreement was signed by Han Jun, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the People's Republic of China (Mara) and Paulo Teixeira, Minister of Agrarian Development and Family Farming of Brazil. One of the aims of the agreement is to set up factories: Chinese agricultural machinery companies will be encouraged to expand their business in Brazil.
