Senator Dr. Eudócia's official mission to China strengthens international scientific cooperation in the area of health

On her official mission to China, Senator Dr. Eudócia began an intense and productive agenda in Beijing with the aim of expanding international cooperation in the areas of science, technology and health. The main focus is on consolidating partnerships for the development of vaccines and innovative cancer treatments.


The Senator's first official appointment was an audience with Deputy Li Bin, a member of the National Health Commission of the National People's Congress of China. During the meeting, they discussed strategies to intensify scientific collaboration between Brazil and China, with an emphasis on technology transfer and the exchange of researchers.


Dr. Eudócia presented Deputy Li Bin with her Draft Law on the Regulatory Framework for Cancer Vaccines and defended the importance of bringing Brazilian professionals closer to the most advanced biotechnologies, such as immunotherapies with CAR-T cells, target therapies and technologies based on messenger mRNA.
