From 12 to 25 October, at the invitation of the Chinese Consulate, the Rio de Janeiro Municipal Secretary for Work and Income, Everton Gomes, and the president of the City Planetarium Foundation, Renan Uccelli, will take part in a seminar on the development and application of technologies in the aerospace industry. During this time, a co-operation and exchange agreement between the Rio Planetarium and the Beijing Planetarium will be officially signed.
As well as strengthening ties between Brazil and China, the idea of the partnership between the two planetariums is to exchange experiences and promote exchanges in the area of innovation, research and educational projects.
"In addition to its modern facilities and state-of-the-art equipment, the Beijing Planetarium develops relevant educational projects. Our aim is to get to know these initiatives and bring them to Rio," says Renan Uccelli.
