The Angolan group No Competition Infinity Gaming Development Services and Chinese company Jiangsu Yunmu Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Co., Ltd. signed a five-year memorandum of understanding in Guangzhou last week to develop and expand robotics, artificial intelligence and simulation solutions.

The partnership could involve the deployment of robots, with implementation phased across different sectors of the economy, including construction, hospitality, education, industry, food and services.

The project aims to establish a technological link between China, Africa and the Middle East, drawing on China’s industrial and technological capacity to meet the needs of these markets.

In addition to introducing robotic systems, the initiative provides for the training of engineers, technicians, programmers and operators, with a focus on knowledge transfer and the development of local skills, particularly in Africa.

The document identifies the main challenge over the next five years as turning the technology into commercially viable solutions capable of boosting productivity and creating new business opportunities.

Manuel Polo, a representative of the Angolan group, said that, if it reached the projected scale, the partnership could strengthen the company’s role in linking Asian technological innovation with African and Middle Eastern markets.
