The Rone Group, a Chinese company, recently became a corporate member of the Portugal-China Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCILC). The membership aims to strengthen economic and trade co-operation between the Sichuan‑Chongqing region, Macao and Portuguese‑speaking countries.
Founded in Hong Kong in 2005, the group operates in the commercial real estate, international trade, property management, healthcare and building materials sectors. Its flagship subsidiary, Chongqing Rone Industrial Group, was established in 2009 and specialises in real estate development, commercial operations and property management.
The group is a founding and active member of the Macao Sichuan‑Chongqing General Chamber of Commerce. As part of the Panxi Line Center project, the company established the Chongqing‑Macao (Portuguese‑speaking countries) Economic and Trade Promotion Center, which features a digital trade platform and a physical experience space called “Portuguese Products Hub”. This structure is aimed at facilitating cross-border trade, innovation and talent exchange.
With its membership of the CCILC, Rone Group aims to deepen collaboration with companies and other entities within the Chamber’s network, contributing to the development of trade relations between China and Portuguese-speaking markets.
The CCILC highlighted the diversity of the group’s activities and its growing involvement in international trade platforms.
