China created more than 64 million new jobs for residents in urban areas in the past five years, Chinese state-run news agency Xinhua reported on Tuesday.

China imported 39.06 million tonnes of soya bean produce from Brazil in the first 11 months of this year – up 22.7 percent from the prior-year period – according to data from the Brazilian Secretariat of Foreign Trade.

Brazilian aviation conglomerate Embraer has recently delivered two E195 twin-engine jet aircraft to Tianjin Airlines in China, the South American firm said in a statement.

China and Cape Verde signed on Monday an agreement to enable regular formal political and diplomatic consultation between the two nations, media in the latter country reported.

The Government of East Timor last week signed a loan agreement with the Export-Import Bank of China (China EXIM Bank) giving the Southeast Asian nation access to a US$50-million concessional loan. It would be used to build and upgrade the drainage system of the capital Dili, East Timor’s Ministry of Finance has announced.

Brazil’s economy will this year have contracted 3.3 percent, but the rate of decline is likely to slow in 2016, to 2.6 percent, said the country’s National Confederation of Industry (known as CNI under its Portuguese language acronym).
