According to data from the Brazilian Association of Cotton Producers (Abrapa), Brazil ranks second in exports, supplying 20% of all cotton exported around the world. In terms of value, it is the seventh largest Brazilian agribusiness output sector: approximately 1,680 tons of lint were exported in the 2021/22 commercial year, generating revenues of US$ 3.2 billion.

Angola and China have shared, for 40 years, political and diplomatic relations, which began in 1983, having established a strategic partnership 13 years ago. To celebrate the event, which will be celebrated on the 12th of the current month, the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Angola held a gala on the 6th of January in Luanda, alluding to the opening day of the celebration of the four decades of bilateral cooperation.

The National Association of Grain Exporters (Anec) forecasts still heated corn exports in January of 4.327 million tonnes, down 25.76% from 5.829 million tonnes in December, but up 94.60% from 2.223 million tonnes in January 2022. Anec also highlighted in a report that 22 ships were tracked carrying corn with China as a potential destination.

The imports from Macao by Portuguese-speaking countries that speak Portuguese fell by 74.2% on a yearly basis.
