The fourth edition of the Film Festival between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries will start on the 4th of until the 18th of November, promises to present about 30 films in Chinese and Portuguese, all under the theme “All Rivers Run to the Sea. The organization is in charged of the Cultural Institute (IC) and takes place in several movie theaters in the territory.

On the 20th of October, following an agreement signed last January with the Directorate-General for Natural Resources, Safety and Maritime Services (DGRM), the China Classification Society (CCS) opened its office in Lisbon. The creation of the Lisbon office aims to deepen the exchange and cooperation between CCS, maritime entities and shipping, shipbuilding and ship support companies in Portugal.

China’s Goldwind is in advanced negotiations to install a wind turbine factory in Brazil, with deliveries expected to begin in 2024, the company’s executive said on October 19. The plant, whose location is not yet defined, will primarily serve the Brazilian market but will also be able to export equipment to other countries in South America, according to Roberto Veiga, Goldwind’s general manager in Brazil.

Huawei Portugal has started the SmartBus 2022 itinerary. The educational project, developed for children and teenagers between 10 and 14 years old, will travel the country from North to South during one month, stopping in about 20 Portuguese schools.

China In Box, the brand belonging to the Trigo Group and the pioneer in Asian food delivery in Brazil, is reopening one of its stores in the countryside of São Paulo state, in Americana, a city in the Campinas micro-region. This is the only unit of the Chinese restaurant in the city.
