On the 7th of March, the Federal University of Santa Maria, Palmeira das Missões campus (UFSM-PM) received representatives of the Brazil-China Health Forum. On the occasion, a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at promoting the development and use of medicinal plants in Brazil was signed between the Federal University of Santa Maria, Beijing Institute of Traditional Medicine, Brazil-China Health Forum, Small Farmers’ Movement and Hospital Santo Antônio.
