According to a company statement, Portos e Caminhos de Ferro de Moçambique (CFM) is supporting construction work on 72 kilometers of the Bangula-Marka railway line, linking the districts of Mutarara and Malawi. The Chinese company CR20 is responsible for the construction of the Malawian Railway. The works are already being completed at a rate of 17%.

A twinning agreement was signed on the 16th of February between Maringá and the city of Yongzhou, in China. A new air cargo service connecting the coastal city of Xiamen in southeastern China to São Paulo in Brazil was launched on the 10th of February. At 10:40 am, an Ethiopian Airlines flight carrying 96.1 tons of cargo departed from Gaoqi International Airport in Xiamen, bound for São Paulo, the largest city in South America. It was the first flight to Brazil carried out by the airport’s first cargo service.

On the 7th of February, the creation of the Bahia-China Parliamentary Front was registered, which will be chaired by state deputy Angelo Almeida.
