Brazil expected to reach R$75.6 million in business during trade fair in China

Recently, the participation of Brazilian companies in the All China Leather Exhibition (ACLE), held in Shanghai, resulted in impressive figures for the leather and footwear components and chemicals sector. 


The event was supported by Brazilian Materials, an internationalization program maintained by the Brazilian Association of Companies of Components for Leather, Footwear and Artifacts (Assintecal) in partnership with the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil).


According to a report by Assintecal, during the three days of the fair, R$ 11.77 million in business (US$ 2.18 million) was secured. With sales lined up during the event, the amount is expected to reach R$ 75.6 million (US$ 14 million). The entity's International Market Manager, Luiz Ribas Júnior, assessed the participation as highly positive, highlighting the establishment of 146 commercial contacts with representatives from markets in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America.
