Recently, Brazil's Ministry of Communications (MCom) participated in the 4th International Satellite Navigation Summit, held in the city of Zhuzhou, Hunan Province (China). The Brazilian mission seeks to expand cooperation with China in the digital economy, telecommunications policies, connectivity, and geolocation.
The General Coordinator of Studies and Connectivity at MCom, Thyago Braun, highlighted that the event showed in practice how technology can transform different sectors. “Applications of the Chinese navigation system for industry, agriculture, the Internet of Things, and even in emergency and disaster situations were presented. These are solutions that point to important paths for the future of global connectivity,” he said.
The Summit brought together leading companies in the Chinese space sector and opened space for new thematic forums, exhibitions, and innovation showcases, creating opportunities for technological partnerships between Brazil and China.
