Recently, Mozambique's Ministry of Mineral Resources and Energy hosted a business session dedicated to mining with the government of the Chinese province of Shandong. The meeting was part of a three-day visit to Mozambique by the province's deputy governor, Wen Nuan.

During his stay in the country, the Chinese leader met with key players in the mining and agriculture sectors to present business opportunities and explore new areas of economic cooperation between Mozambique and China.

This initiative represents an opportunity to strengthen relations of friendship and cooperation, consolidating economic diplomacy between Mozambique and Shandong province. The business meeting thus aims to promote more direct dialogue between institutions and companies in the two countries, encouraging the exchange of experiences and increasing partnerships in the mining sector, with expected benefits for both markets.
