The Guangxi-Brazil Investment and Trade Cooperation Forum “Guangxi Connects the World (South America Station)” was recently held in Nanning, capital of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China.
The event, co-organized by the Guangxi Commission of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT Guangxi) and the Brazil-China Cooperative Society, attracted nearly 150 government and business representatives from China and Brazil, and held trade promotions and networking activities in various sectors, such as mining, construction, and new energy.
Yang Yanyan, president of CCPIT Guangxi, highlighted the high complementarity of industrial resources and the broad prospects for cooperation between Guangxi and Brazil. “Guangxi is willing to strengthen economic and trade ties with Brazil, make the most of their respective advantages, and work together to build a China-Brazil community with a shared future for a fairer world and a more sustainable planet,” Yang said.
During the forum, several Chinese and Brazilian companies signed strategic cooperation agreements in areas such as tourism and culture, clothing, consulting, machinery manufacturing, and energy.
