Recently, mayors from the Association of Municipalities of Southern Paraná (AMSULPAR) region participated in an important meeting where an international trade partnership between Brazil and China was discussed. The measure aims to increase knowledge about international trade. China is currently one of Brazil's largest trading partners, but still has little influence in the AMSULPAR region.
Through the meeting with the Brazil-China Chamber of Commerce, the mayors of the AMSULPAR region were able to learn more about China, which is well ahead in terms of technology. Therefore, the mayors' goal is to seek solutions for their municipalities through projects developed in China.
The meeting brought promising prospects for the municipality, with emphasis on technological partnerships, the implementation of affordable modular housing, and future possibilities for exporting regional products, such as yerba mate, highlighted one of the mayors.
