Recently, Chinese Ambassador to Guinea-Bissau Yang Renhuo awarded the “Ambassador Scholarship” to students at Tchico Te Higher Normal School in the West African country. The ceremony was also attended by the school's director, Ibraima Djalo, and representatives of the teaching staff.

Yang congratulated the recipients, encouraging them to study hard, improve their skills, and contribute to the development of Guinea-Bissau, as well as to the strengthening of friendship between China and Guinea-Bissau. He emphasized that the Chinese embassy will continue to support educational cooperation between the two countries and will work to establish a Confucius Institute at the school to promote Chinese language teaching.

Djalo and the students expressed their gratitude for the support of the Chinese embassy, stating that the “Ambassador Scholarship” will significantly help disadvantaged students to complete their studies. They added that they are committed to strengthening the friendship between the two countries in the future.
