Recently, exchange students from the “From Piauí to the World” Program, an initiative of the State Department of Education (Seduc), returned to Brazil after a month of international educational immersion.
A total of 55 students and 11 teachers arrived in Brazil: 15 students and three teachers returned from China, while 40 students and eight teachers had their experience in the United States.
In China, the students stayed at the Institute for Digital Economy & Artificial Systems (IDEAS), one of the country's leading research centers in the areas of digital economy and artificial intelligence. Contact with a high-tech environment, combined with intense cultural exchange, provided an excellent academic experience and sparked young people's interest in areas that are strategic for the future of work.
Created by the State Government, the From Piauí to the World program strengthens full-time secondary education integrated with professional education, promotes technical training, and expands opportunities for young people in Piauí.
