Recently, bringing together youthful creativity and international communication, the 3rd Portuguese-language Short Film Competition for Students of Higher Education Institutions in China held its awards ceremony and celebrated productions that portray contemporary China.

With the theme “China's Technology and Innovation,” the contest sought to encourage students to explore their professional skills and present, through short films in Portuguese, the country's advances and transformations.

Co-organized by the Communication University of China and the University of Macau, the contest received 64 entries from 29 higher education institutions in mainland China and Macau, of which 15 were awarded prizes.

After the ceremony, a meeting was held that brought together students and experts from the academic and professional fields. The program included the screening of selected works, expert commentary, and debates, with the aim of deepening the exchange of ideas, encouraging the active participation of young people in international communication, and expanding forms of dialogue with Portuguese-speaking countries.
