Economic and trade cooperation between Brazil and China continues to grow steadily despite turbulence on the international stage, Chinese Ambassador Zhu Qingqiao said on Monday (October 13, 2025). In a speech at the CEBC (Annual Conference of the Brazil-China Business Council) in São Paulo, the diplomat presented an overview of bilateral relations, highlighting four strategic areas of cooperation.

“We are working together to promote industrial connectivity, cooperation in infrastructure, manufacturing, and health,” said Zhu. In bilateral trade, the ambassador emphasized that “China has been Brazil's largest trading partner for consecutive years” and that “since 2023, Brazilian exports to China have exceeded US$100 billion annually.”

The CEBC conference has as its theme “Creating Synergies in a Changing World” and represents a space for dialogue between Brazil and China, countries that maintain significant trade relations and seek to expand their areas of cooperation.
