GAC, the fifth largest automobile manufacturer in China, recently held the official launch of its brand in Fortaleza, in northeastern Brazil, with two stores opened simultaneously.
Betting on the Brazilian market, the Chinese premium brand is confident and has decided that it will bring several popular models that Brazilians should like. The 100% electric Aion S is one of them and will operate in the sports saloon segment. The GS3 and GS4 are other models that will join the range, offering Brazilian consumers more choice.
The director of the HWS group, Walber Júnior reveals that the expectation is that the GAC models, together with the HWS group and our authorized dealers, Fort GAC, will form an efficient sales and service network, and will make a big impact on the Fortaleza car market, considering the strength of the brand and the significant investment made by the automaker to expand its operations
The long-term goal is to be the first Chinese automaker with a complete line of electric and hybrid cars. With its official arrival in Brazil, GAC joins the growing contingent of Chinese automakers with operations in the country, helping to boost Sino-Brazilian cooperation in the automotive sector.
