The opening ceremony of the ‘Workshop on Teaching and Training of Bilingual Speakers for China and Portuguese-speaking Countries’ was held yesterday at Macao Polytechnic Institute (MPI).

The Training Centre of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Forum Macao) is organising a Workshop on Environmental Policy for Portuguese-speaking Countries. A total of 23 participants are to join the event, to be held from September 15 to 30.

A delegation from the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) – also known as Forum Macao – went, on the afternoon of August 27, to the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China in the Macao SAR.

The Deputy Director-General of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao SAR, Mr Yao Jian; and the Deputy Director-General of the Economic Affairs Department of the Liaison Office, Mr Kou Ming, on August 25 visited the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), also known as Forum Macao.

The Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) – also known as Forum Macao – and the Macao Polytechnic Institute (MPI) are jointly organising a ‘Workshop on Teaching and Training of Bilingual Speakers for China and Portuguese-speaking Countries’.

Following an invitation from the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) – also known as Forum Macao – 18 participants in the “Seminar for Angolan Officials on Economic Development Experiences” visited Macao between August 11 and 13.

A delegation led by the Deputy Mayor of Zhongshan, Mr Yang Wenlong, on July 30 paid a visit to the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), also known as Forum Macao. The delegation also took part in a meeting about co-operation between Zhongshan, Macao and Portuguese-speaking Countries.

The Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) and the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), also known as Forum Macao, jointly organised – with the support of the Foshan Delegation of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) – the “Workshop on Investment Environment and Business Opportunities in Angola”.

On July 9, a group of meteorology professionals from Mainland China, Cape Verde, Mozambique, Portugal, and Macao paid a visit to the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), also known as Forum Macao.

The Closing Ceremony of the “International Law and Trade Law Conference for Portuguese-speaking Countries” was held on July 6, at the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), also known as Forum Macao.

Professionals from the health and traditional medicine sectors from several Portuguese-speaking Countries – namely Angola, Brazil, Mozambique and Portugal – on July 1 paid a visit to the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao).

The Delegation of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), led by the Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao, Mr Chang Hexi, visited Taiyuan, in China’s Shanxi Province, between June 25 and 27.
