The Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), also known as Forum Macao, held on October 5 a press conference regarding the Philatelic Collection to mark the 15th Anniversary of the Establishment of Forum Macao.

The closing ceremony and certificate presentation for the “Seminar on Traditional Medicine Cooperation for Participants from Portuguese-speaking Countries” was held on September 26. The seminar was hosted by the Training Centre of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), in partnership with Macau Traditional Chinese Medicine Technology Industrial Park Development Co., Ltd.

A press conference detailing the activities included in the 10th Cultural Week of China and Portuguese-speaking Countries was held on September 26 at the headquarters of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), also known as Forum Macao.

A delegation from the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), led by Deputy Secretaries-General Mr Ding Tian and Mr Rodrigo Brum, visited Beihai in Guangxi Province between September 18 to 20. The goal of the visit was to strengthen cooperation between different municipalities and provinces in Mainland China and the Portuguese-speaking Countries, including on the topic of production capacity.

A delegation of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), led by Deputy Secretaries-General Mr Ding Tian and Mr Rodrigo Brum, visited Nanning in Guangxi Province between September 20 and 22. The goal of the trip was to take part in a number of economic and trade promotion activities.

A delegation from Cabo Verde TradeInvest – the country’s trade promotion agency – visited on August 10 the headquarters of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao. The group was headed by Cabo Verde TradeInvest’s President, Ms Ana Barber.

Guinea Bissau’s Ambassador to Beijing, Mr Malam Sambu, visited on August 8 the headquarters of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao. Mr Sambu held a meeting with Secretary-General Ms Xu Yingzhen, and Deputy Secretaries-General Mr Ding Tian and Mr Rodrigo Brum.

A delegation from the Portuguese-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry – headed by its President Mr Bernie Leong – visited on August 7 the headquarters of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao. The delegation members held a meeting with Secretary-General Ms Xu Yingzhen, and Deputy Secretaries-General Mr Rodrigo Brum and Ms Glória Batalha Ung.

A delegation led by the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China in the Macao Special Administrative Region, Mr Ye Dabo, visited the facilities of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao on 26 July. The group was welcomed by Secretary-General Ms Xu Yingzhen, along with the other members of the Permanent Secretariat.

Mozambique’s new Ambassador to Beijing, Ms Maria Gustava, accompanied by the Consul-General of Mozambique to Macao, Mr Rafael Custódio Marques, visited on July 23 the headquarters of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao. They held a meeting with Secretary-General Ms Xu Yingzhen, and Deputy Secretaries-General Mr Ding Tian, Mr Rodrigo Brum and Ms Glória Batalha Ung.

A delegation from the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), also known as Forum Macao, took part in the “Dynamic Macao Week” in Tianjin, from July 12 to 14. The delegation was led by Deputy Secretary-General of Forum Macao, Mr Rodrigo Brum.

The Secretary-General of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), Ms Xu Yingzhen, had a meeting on July 11 with the Rector of the University of Lisbon, Mr António Manuel de Cruz Serra, and the President of Macau High Technology Exchange, Mr Lu Songlin.
