A delegation from the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), also known as Forum Macao, took part in the “Dynamic Macao Week” in Tianjin, from July 12 to 14. The delegation was led by Deputy Secretary-General of Forum Macao, Mr Rodrigo Brum.

The Secretary-General of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), Ms Xu Yingzhen, had a meeting on July 11 with the Rector of the University of Lisbon, Mr António Manuel de Cruz Serra, and the President of Macau High Technology Exchange, Mr Lu Songlin.

The newly-accredited Angolan Ambassador to Beijing, Mr João Salvador dos Santos Neto, visited on July 6 the headquarters of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao). He was joined by the Consul-General of Angola in the Macao SAR, Ms Sofia Pegado da Silva.

A delegation headed by Mr Ding Tian, Deputy Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries, a body also known as Forum Macao, toured Cabo Verde on June 27 and 28. The delegation was joined by a group of business people from Qingdao in Shandong Province, Mainland China. The visit followed the delegation’s trip to neighbouring Guinea-Bissau.

On the morning of May 31, the Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in Macao SAR, Mr Zheng Xiaosong, visited the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), a body also known as Forum Macao.

The Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), also known as Forum Macao, signed on May 25 a cooperation framework agreement with City University of Macau.

A Delegation from Zhuhai Municipality, headed by the Vice-Mayor and member of the Standing Committee of the Zhuhai Municipality’s Party Committee, Mr Zhu Qingqiao, visited on May 21 the office of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), also known as Forum Macao.

A delegation from the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) visited Fujian Province from May 16 to 18 to take part in the “Dynamic Macao Week” activities in Fuzhou Prefecture. The programme included setting up a “Portuguese-speaking Countries’ Pavilion”, visits to local companies and other economic and trade promotion activities.

The Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao and the Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office of the Yangzhou Municipal People’s Government jointly organised on May 10 the “Meeting on Cooperation on Production Capacity between Yangzhou, Macao and Portuguese-speaking Countries”.
