The representative in Macao of AICEP Portugal Global – Trade & Investment Agency, Ms Carolina Lousinha, visited the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao on April 29. Ms Lousinha had a meeting with the Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao, Ms Xu Yingzhen, and the Deputy Secretary-General, Mr Rodrigo Brum.

On April 18, the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) participated in a meeting between representatives from Hunan and high-profile trade-sector representatives from Macao, as part of the 2019 Hunan-Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Investment and Trade Conference.

A delegation from the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao) visited Guangzhou on April 14 and 15, to take part in the 125th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair).

The President of the Cabo Verde-China Friendship Association, Mr José Correia, made a visit on April 12 to the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao). He was accompanied by the country’s Representative in Forum Macao, Mr Nuno Furtado.

The Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao hosted on March 28 a meeting between representatives from, respectively, the International Tropical Timber Organization and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization on the one hand, and participants in the 14th Ordinary Meeting of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao on the other.

Representatives from the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Macao), a body also known as Forum Macao, attended the opening ceremony of the Macao International Environmental Co-operation Forum and Exhibition 2019 (2019MIECF), held on March 28. The Forum Macao party also visited Forum Macao’s booth at the event.

The 14th Ordinary Meeting of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-Operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Forum Macao) was held in Macao on March 27. During the meeting, representatives from the Participating Countries in Forum Macao approved the 2018 work report of the Permanent Secretariat and the body’s plan of activities for 2019.

The 14th Ordinary Meeting of the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-Operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Forum Macao) will be held on March 27 in Macao. The meeting will take place in the Lotus Room on the 5th floor of the World Trade Center Building. It will be attended by representatives from Forum Macao and its stakeholders.
