The 11th Cultural Week of China and Portuguese-speaking Countries is organised by the Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-Speaking Countries.

The Cultural Week of China and Portuguese-speaking Countries is an event held annually in Macao. Its 11th edition officially started on October 12 and features a number of music and dance performances.

The Handicraft Fair of the 11th Cultural Week of China and Portuguese-speaking Countries will be held from October 12 to 18 at Macau Fisherman’s Wharf.

Visual arts exhibitions – part of the programme of the 11th Cultural Week of China and Portuguese-speaking Countries – are taking place from October 12 to November 9. The Cultural Week is hosted by the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao.

The opening ceremony of the 11th Cultural Week of China and Portuguese-speaking Countries was held on October 12 in the afternoon at Macau Fisherman’s Wharf. The festival is organised by the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao.

The Permanent Secretariat of the Forum for Economic and Trade Co-operation between China and Portuguese-speaking Countries (Forum Macao) held on October 11 a lunch specially to promote the upcoming Portuguese-speaking Countries’ Food Festival.

The Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao, Ms Xu Yingzhen, met on September 26 with the Health Minister of São Tomé and Príncipe, Mr Edgar Neves. The meeting followed Mr Neves’ participation in the 2019 Traditional Medicine International Cooperation Forum (Macao, China).

The closing and certificate award ceremony of the Seminar on Traditional Medicine Cooperation for Participants from Portuguese-speaking Countries was held on September 27. The seminar was organised by the Training Centre of Forum Macao in cooperation with the Traditional Chinese Medicine Science and Technology Industrial Park of Co-operation between Guangdong and Macao.

The Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao, Ms Xu Yingzhen, met on September 26 with the Secretary of State for Public Health of Angola, Mr José Manuel Vieira Dias da Cunha. The meeting followed Mr Cunha’s participation in the 2019 Traditional Medicine International Cooperation Forum (Macao, China).

The Secretary-General of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao, Ms Xu Yingzhen, met on 26 September the Minister of Health and Social Security of Cabo Verde, Mr Arlindo do Rosário. The meeting took place in the headquarters of the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao.

A delegation from the Permanent Secretariat of Forum Macao led by Secretary-General Ms Xu Yingzhen took part, on September 25, in the 2019 Traditional Medicine International Cooperation Forum (Macao, China).

The 11th Cultural Week of China and Portuguese-speaking Countries will be held from October 12 to 18.
